"Blitz Megaplex" versus "21 Cineplex"

Buat yang gemar nonton di bioskop, mulai akhir tahun 2006 ini nonton film baru gak harus ke 21 (twentyone) lagi. Pemain baru dalam bisnis hiburan sejenis akan segera datang di Bandung, Jakarta dan Surabaya. Blitz Megaplex, akan buka di 5 lokasi di tiga kota tadi, masing terdiri antara 8 sampai dengan 12 studio.

Satu artikel yang penulis temukan di internet, menyebutkan Blitz Megaplex akan buka April 2006. Meskipun jadual tersebut sudah tidak tepat lagi, namun bahwa rencana pembangunan bioskop ekslusif yang akan dibangun bukan oleh Group21 ini adalah memang ada.

Mudah-mudahan hal ini juga membawa dampak positif bagi per-Film-an Indonesia.

Blitz Megaplex - Indonesia

Meinhardt has recently been engaged by PT. Graha Layar Prima to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering for several Blitz Megaplexs in Indonesia.

The project comprises the fit-outs of exclusive cinema complexes in 5 different shopping malls located in Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya. Each complex has 8 to 12 cinemas complete with concessions, lounge and game centre etc.

The first Blitz Megaplex is located within a shopping mall in Bandung and is due for opening in April 2006. The next three are in Jakarta and are expected for to open for business between the end of 2006 to mid 2007.

The project is to be designed to meet international Standards.

The architect for this project is Unick, a Cinema Design Specialist from Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
